Type of Tea: Indian black.
Production area: Baksa, Assam, India.
Method of preparation: Put 2/3 grams of leaves in 200 cc. of natural mineral water at a temperature of 90 °. Leave in infusion for 3 minutes.

The company

Tea plantations on the Doomni company began to be cultivated in 1928; previously there were sugar plantations. From 1945, Doomni began to be appreciated internationally for the excellent quality of the leaves by various mixers and researchers. In recent years, Doomni CTC teas have also achieved countless successes.

The Tea

Once infused, Assam Doomni SFTGFOP1 Tea is very clear. The color is an orange red. The nose is intense, broad with a bouquet that recalls toasted hints of tobacco, cinnamon and malt. In the mouth it reveals intense and soft, with a long persistence.

Foods in pairing: It can be combined with fatty meats such as “Lardo di colonnata”, structured and spiced red meats, hard cheeses such as “Parmigiano Reggiano” or “Pecorino Romano” and with fruit jam based desserts.

Cigars in pairing: Plasencia Reserva Original Robusto, Macanudo Inspirado Black Robusto, Tornabuoni Long

Conclusions

Assam Doomni SFTGFOP1 is a top quality Indian black tea. Excellent to drink for example during the early hours of the morning or in pairing with fatty meats, structured and spiced meats, hard cheeses and jam-based desserts. It goes well with body and structured cigars.
